These two ATC's were created for the July ATC Swap on willowing.ning.com for Anette Husum. This month's theme was 'Dreams'.
It wasn't until I scanned them into my computer that I noticed my HUGE mistake.Woops! I can't believe I never noticed it until now.
So Annette, if you read this, I will be sending you another ATC to replace my dodgy one.

I'm so glad I can laugh at myself.
Can you see my mistake? Has this ever happened to you? I'm so glad this was only an ATC and not a large painting.
Your ATCs are great :) I love the thoughtful expression on the first one and I definitely do things like the second one too! It's good to be able to laugh about it and keep a positive outlook (I agree it might be a little harder with a larger painting! hee hee)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures from The Institute of Cute are wonderful... hope your vacation was great :)

Kristin
I've done those, one little letter and the word changes but I don't think it's a big deal, they're still so cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Kristin. My visit to Jane's store was fantastic. I wish I lived closer to it so that I could shop there regularly. Lucky for me she has an online store.....he he he =D
ReplyDeleteThanks Lissa. I might try going over it with Gesso first and fixing it up, before starting again. It might just work. =D
ReplyDeleteHa! You are not alone - I've done this sort of thing many times, hee, hee. These atc's are darn cute! Oh, btw, I added Jane's store to my favorites for later...

This reminds me of a true story about my son and his friend who were going to an Anaheim Angels baseball game years ago. They desperately wanted to have the cameras zero in on them in the crowd, so they spent the day making a big poster to hold up. They proudly showed me their poster before they were about to head out to the game and it said GO ANGLES! I said, " I hate to tell you but you didn't spell Angels correctly. They were devastated but went to the game anyway! The ATCS are both very cute!
ReplyDeleteHi Jessi, I can't believe I didn't notice it until I had scanned it into the computer and was cropping it. he he he =D
ReplyDeleteHey Geri, That's funny. =) I'm glad I'm not the only one who does silly things. he he he
ReplyDeleteI wonder where our thoughts go? Maybe you went somewhere really nice and got lost in time for a moment and passed through a time barrier then jumped to M? So cool!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Julie
He he he. I think you might be right Jules, as I was on holidays, absorbing the lovely sunshine, while creating these. I though I was just absent-minded occasionally, but I think I'll now call it day dreaming. he he he.
ReplyDeleteHugs back at ya. Kyles =D
Still a great piece! If it were me I'd put little "A"s above the Z's or floating around the page as though they are looking for their place!! Just a thought!! Both adorable!
