Here is a sneak peak of another of my artworks that will be for sale in my Etsy store, come February.
The Matt boards, backing boards and re-sealable clear bags I have ordered, from The Mat Cutting Company, have arrived and I am happy to say that they look great. I was very impressed how well all my items were packaged. I have also picked up some prints from the printers and hope to put them all together tonight.

I've decided to go 'professional' with every aspect of my Etsy store. My prints will arrive taped between a matt board (you can choose between two colours) and a backing board, ready for framing. I've chosen to only print in universal standard sizes, to make it easier to pop into a frame, no matter where in the world you live.

Although my Etsy store Grand Opening will be mid Feb, I will let you, my blog followers, know once I have put my first item in the store.

I would love it if you could spread the word about my Grand Opening, if possible.

Sunny Carvalho - Mixed media artist

I've been away for the past week camping with my husband and my three children, Louise, Jack and James; hence the lack of blog posts recently. I managed to do a few little paintings while I was away and will share them with you as soon as I can.

I wanted to share this video with you and hope it inspires you as much as it inspires me. Willowing's Klimt inspired mixed media artwork. =D

I have to share some wonderful work with you. Mixed media artist and illustrator Willowing (Tamara Laporte) has recently uploaded this amazing Klimt inspired piece, as apart of her new online course, 'Magical, Mythical, Makings'. I love it. Blog Giveaway - Mixed media art print

I have great news. I entered a giveaway on Angela's blog, 'A kaleidoscope of shapes and colour' and I won. Can you believe that. I won this wonderful art print from mixed media artist, Flor Larios, titled 'Maternity'. I almost fell off my chair when I opened my email from Angela, informing me that I had one. How lucky am I? My daughter even copied this one, so I may upload her version of this also.

I've Been Featured.

Angel Blessing - Mixed media

This angel was made as part of a 'New Year Blessing Swap', which was held on Tam's wonderful art site http://willowing.ning.com/.

I painted the angel on watercolour paper first, before cutting her out and pasting onto another piece of watercolour paper, which I had created a background on. The text was added on last.
