The theme for August's ATC swap over at Willowing.ning.com was 'Inspired by famous paintings'. These are my two contributions, which now belong to Beth Gould. You can find her blog at Dreaming about Tomorrow.

After I created these two ladies, I was still feeling pretty inspired by Modigliani's artwork, so I created several of my own girls. Stay tuned, as I will include them in an upcoming post.

I've always liked to think that this is true, 'You are exactly where you are meant to be'. I created this a few weeks ago now, maybe even a month ago, as I've always liked this saying. I had planned to post it a couple of weeks ago and didn't get around to it.

I experienced a death in my family last week, when my dear Aunty passed away, which I'm trying so desperately to keep out of my mind. In reference to what has happened over the past week, I am not as satisfied with my work, as the words just don't ring as true to me now. How can my Aunty be where she is supposed to be??????
